About Us
SK Image Consulting, L.L.C. is a full service styling firm that provides wardrobe, make-up and hair styling services to individuals, models, artists, actors/actresses, etc. We are available for formal events, photo/video shoots, and movies. We also offer personal shopping services. We offer free consultations, and we will work with you to meet your own individual needs. Our goal is to make everyone look and feel their best by creating looks that change you from the inside and out.
SK Image Consulting was started by two driven females; Shana Starks and Keya Simmons. These two girls, originally from NYC first met when they were 16 and worked at a local mom & pop shop in Manhattan during their high school years. They immediately bonded over their love of fashion and their sense of humor. Their friendship grew over the years, but they lost touch for a while when they went to different colleges. Keya graduated from Virginia State University, while Shana attended Clark Atlanta University. During her matriculation at VSU, Keya first majored in fashion design, then moved on to business administration. She participated in numerous fashion shows and events in the Virgina area, all while mastering her sewing skills. Meanwhile, at CAU, Shana majored in business administration. One summer, Shana journeyed back to NYC to intern at IT USA, an Italian Fashion Powerhouse, responsible for all US distribution of Italian designers such as GianFranco Ferre, as well as diffusion lines like Just Cavalli and Galliano. Though hundred miles apart neither Keya nor Shana forgot about their first love, fashion. Keya relocated to Atlanta after finishing school and the two reuinted. They put their heads together, shared what they learned over the years, and joined forces to start SK Image Consulting, L.L.C. The rest is history!
